These Terms of Service govern access to and use of the inTheEU Assist platform, including the website at assist.intheeu.com, the inTheEU Assist application, and any associated services. The platform is provided by WIDE di D. Papa, Sant'Antimo (NA), Italy, operating under licence from ae Aeonian Engineering Limited, Hong Kong (collectively, "inTheEU Assist", "we", "us").
By accessing this website, registering for pilot access, or using the platform, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services. Professional firm administrators who subscribe to the platform on behalf of their organisation agree on behalf of all authorised users within that organisation.
inTheEU Assist is an on-premise AI agent platform designed for regulated professional practices operating in the European Union. It provides tools for building and managing AI-assisted workflows within the firm's own infrastructure, subject to the licence and configuration purchased.
The platform is made available under subscription or pilot agreements. Pilot access is subject to separate terms communicated at registration. Production subscriptions are governed by a separate commercial agreement.
inTheEU Assist is deployed on infrastructure controlled by the subscribing professional firm (the "Tenant"). The inference server, document store, knowledge base, case data, and audit records are hosted on the Tenant's own hardware. We do not store, access, or process client or case data except as explicitly described in the Data Processing Agreement and solely for the purposes of licence validation and authorised support.
Tenants are solely responsible for the security, maintenance, and compliance of their own infrastructure and for all data processed within their deployment.
You may use inTheEU Assist only for lawful professional purposes within your subscribed configuration. You agree not to:
inTheEU Assist produces AI-generated outputs — including drafts, summaries, analyses, and recommendations — to assist professional users in their work. These outputs are tools for professional review, not final deliverables and not professional advice.
All AI-generated outputs must be reviewed and approved by a qualified professional before they are relied upon, communicated to clients, or used in any professional capacity. The platform enforces a mandatory human approval step before any output can be finalised or exported. You remain solely and fully responsible for the professional quality and legal consequences of any output you approve and use.
No AI-generated output from this platform constitutes legal advice, medical advice, tax advice, financial advice, or any other form of regulated professional advice. The platform assists professionals in producing such advice; it does not produce it independently.
The platform guide and vademecum available at assist.intheeu.com/guide/ are provided for orientation purposes. They describe platform features and workflows as they exist at the time of publication. inTheEU Assist is under active development. Features, interface elements, workflows, and terminology are subject to change without notice as we continuously improve the platform. Published documentation may not reflect the exact layout, wording, or behaviour of the currently deployed version. We do not warrant that any specific feature described in documentation will be available in any particular form in any future release.
Tenants are responsible for ensuring that their use of inTheEU Assist complies with all applicable regulations, including:
We provide technical documentation, audit records, and platform information to assist Tenants in meeting their compliance obligations upon request. We do not provide legal compliance advice.
All software, architecture, documentation, and content forming part of inTheEU Assist is the exclusive property of ae Aeonian Engineering Limited and WIDE di D. Papa, protected under applicable intellectual property law. No licence to copy, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of any component is granted beyond what is expressly stated in your subscription or commercial agreement.
Professional outputs produced by Tenants using the platform, including AI-generated drafts reviewed and approved by Tenant professionals, are owned by the Tenant subject to the terms of their subscription.
Pilot access is provided for a defined evaluation period under conditions communicated at registration. Pilot access is limited to regulated professional sectors and subject to availability. We reserve the right to terminate pilot access at our discretion. Data generated during a pilot period is subject to the same privacy and security standards as production data. A commercial proposal based on actual observed usage will be provided at the conclusion of the pilot period.
The platform is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific feature will remain available in any particular form. The platform is designed to assist qualified professionals and does not replace professional judgment, expertise, or responsibility. We do not warrant that outputs produced by the platform are accurate, complete, or fit for any specific professional purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, inTheEU Assist shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of or inability to use the platform, including damages arising from professional reliance on AI-generated outputs that have not been adequately reviewed. Our total liability in connection with any claim shall not exceed the amounts paid by the Tenant for the relevant service in the three months preceding the claim.
These terms are governed by Italian law. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Naples, Italy, without prejudice to any mandatory rights you may have under the law of your country of residence within the EU.
We may update these terms to reflect changes in our services, applicable law, or regulatory guidance. Continued use of the platform after notification of changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated to registered users and Tenants by email with at least 30 days notice.
